Via Assarotti
It is one of the “climbing roads” that have to connect, since the second half of the 19th Century, the old town with the hill area.

Piazza Manin
In this busy square you can take Via Assarotti, the mountain ring, the new wall ring route, and the roads leading to the Bisagno Valley, and also the train Genova-Casella from the station.

Castelletto Esplanade
The elevator station is in liberty style and it connects Piazza Portello to Belvedere Montaldo in the area called Castelletto.
From this famous spot the view covers the whole old town and the ancient harbour areas until the hills of Carignano and Castelletto and the modern areas of Corte Lambruschini and San Benigno.
